a NeoXygen app
Cocon
I’ve known for eight days that the shopping needs doing. The box that arrived last week is still by the door, unopened, and nobody here knows what we’re eating tonight.
There’s an app for the groceries, one for the parcels, one for the meals, one for the cleaning. And a fifth, the list, where I write down what the other four let through.
For a brain that already loses the thread, five apps to stay on top of are not a solution — they are a sixth load to carry.
Cocon takes them all in at once: one app in place of the five it would otherwise take. Bringing them together isn’t a convenience, it is the whole function.
Cocon isn’t out yet. There is nothing to download today.
What comes into the house
The groceries
What I buy again every week, and the one thing that never makes it onto the list.
The parcels
What I ordered, what was meant to arrive, what never did.
The week’s meals
What we’re eating this week, settled once instead of seven times.
The cleaning
What I’ve done, and how long ago.
